Obituary for Margaret Mathis Horvath

Our beloved Oma, Margaret Mathis Horvath, went to be with the Lord on February 15, 2018. She is survived by her two children, Rita Horvath Svarinkis and Emil Horvath, and by seven grandchildren and her nine great grandchildren. She was born in 1923 in Klosterneuburg, near Vienna, Austria. She married Ervin Horvath on November 14, 1945 and immigrated to Venezuela in 1947, where her two children were born. She came to Fort Worth, Texas in June of 1996 upon the death of her husband of 51 years. Oma was an enthusiastic alpinist, a humanitarian, and a lover of flowers and animals of all sorts. In fort Worth she was known for knitting volumes of caps, and booties for catholic charities and pregnancy lifeline. Her entire life she has loved the lord as a devout catholic, and we know she is dancing with angels right now.
